Oct. 5 — More Human Than Human: Blade Runner and Retro Futurism
Join ATEC Dean Anne Balsamo and students for a discussion on the history of cyberpunk as a subgenre of science fiction.
Oct. 6 — Oozeball
The annual mud volleyball tournament hosted by the Student Ambassadors returns. Students: Team registration closes Oct. 4. Don’t miss your chance to take part in this UTD tradition!
Oct. 7 — Family Day
Admit it — you’ve missed your family and siblings. Don’t miss your shot to show them around campus and introduce them to your fellow Comets. (Make sure to register by Oct. 2!)
Oct. 19 — Brain Performance Institute Grand Opening
Join the Center for BrainHealth to dedicate its state-of-the-art facility. Register for the grand opening activities.
Oct. 27 — Founders Day
We’re celebrating the University’s origins a few days early (the official Founders Day is Oct. 29). Come join the festivities!
Oct. 27 — Trunk or Treat
Residential Life’s annual Halloween event is open to UTD families and the surrounding communities. Drop by for games, candy and fun! (Psst: This year’s theme is board games.)
Oct. 28 — Comet Fest
Got a hankerin’ for a bowl of chili this fall? We have you covered. NorthSide will host a chili and craft brew festival. A chili competition will be coordinated by the Texas Chefs Association and several alumni brewers will have beers to sample.
